Dedicated Server Hardware Specs
SMUS or “shockwave Multi-user Server” is the only Windows bases plan we have. It supports our current Macromedia Director developers and their projects. Also it is important to know that SmartFoxServer is a Flash component and can be used with Macromedia Director as well.

All servers are also behind an up-to-date hardware Fire Wall protection unit, with a number of built in and configurable safe guards.

We are no longer supporting individual connections, only dedicated servers for SMUS.

All server plans are unmanaged. That means you the client manages the server software after the initial configuration.

All new dedicated servers are equipped with:

PIV or XEON processors
80 to 120 Gigabyte Drives
1 to 2 Gigabytes of RAM

Software includes:

Windows 2000 server
shockwaveserver Multi-user Server (SMUS)
SMUS setup and run as a service
MySQL (if requested)

Data Transfer

We are connected Directly on the back bone one the Internet. So you connection is fast and clean.

*One year requirement and $299 onetime installation fee ($299 installation + first month $110 = $410 then $110 every month after)

Please note, for unmanaged systems we do initial setup and configuration of the system and turn the server over to you. You are responsible for the system from that point forward. Free technical support is only available for connectivity to the server, hardware problems, and firewall configurations. If you require any other support (including but not limited to: configuration of services, re-installation of programs or O/S, repairing of systems) that is billed at $120.00/hr with a 1hr minimum.

For managed systems, support is included for all software and services that are installed and configured at the time of installation. Additional support may also be included on a reasonable case-by-case basis. If support is not included you will be notified in advance before any work is done.

If your server is compromised, used as a spam bot, used for DDOS, or used for other inappropriate uses we reserve the right to immediately disconnect your server from the internet until the problem is resolved.
